ESEA Life Drawing
Join us for a relaxing outdoor life drawing workshop with ESEA Life Drawing, a monthly gathering centred on featuring models of East and South East Asian heritage.
This session explores our relationship with the land – whether that means connecting to where you come from or expressing a sense of home. Our wonderful models, Ren and Chryshelle, will bring this theme to life with playful and colourful costumes for you to draw.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or picking up a pencil for the first time, everyone is welcome to join us for this inspiring day session.
Sunday 14 September 11am–1pm
San Mei Gallery, 39a Loughborough Road SW9 7TB

Wing Kei Hoang [she/her] is a tattoo artist deeply engaged in the life drawing community, whether as an artist, model, or running her own classes - ESEA Life Drawing, a monthly gathering centred on featuring models of East and South East Asian heritage. Her artistic endeavours revolve around her identity as an Asian Woman and her experiences within the diaspora. She strives to represent bodies often objectified and marginalised, aiming to empower and celebrate their unique narratives.
Kelly Tran [she/her] is a tattoo artist who creates playful, expressive designs. Her passion for body art stems from a lifelong experience with body dysmorphia, which drives her to offer a safe, welcoming space for everyone. She believes tattoos are a powerful way to reclaim and celebrate our bodies. She also connects deeply with the life drawing community—whether modelling or hosting at ESEA Life Drawing—advocating for body diversity, self-love, and acceptance through art.
