NOSE BLIND AND HUMMING is an alternative forum open to anyone to perform and/or engage with live art and text-based practices. Poets, performers, writers, readers, noisemakers, musicians, partisans, and parasites are all welcome. Outside of the structure and support of institutions it can seem difficult to test, make and share more performative works, thus we hope that this is an antidote. Benjamin Arthur Brown [he/him] is an artist, writer, performer and curator who works across sculpture, sound, written and spoken text among other media. He often works with a combination of preexisting and handcrafted materials, utilising absurdity to spark narratives. Ben is the founder of NOSE BLIND AND HUMMING and runs a monthly experimental radio show A LEG AND A CHIN on RTM.fm.
