Ajamu X [he/him] is a darkroom/fine art photographic artist (Hon FRPS). His playful yet serious imagery, philosophy, politics, and aesthetics unapologetically celebrates black queer bodies, desire, eroticism, intimacies and pleasure as activism. Working predominantly with early 19th century printing processes, his darkroom-based imagery foregrounds the sensual material attributes of process and production. Ajamu’s work has been exhibited in major museums, leading galleries, artist-led spaces and alternative spaces worldwide. His work is held in numerous public and private collections, and in 2025, a monograph on his practice was published in the Tate Photographic Series.

Ita O’Brien [she/her] is a pioneering force in contemporary performance, reshaping how intimacy is imagined on stage and screen. As founder of Intimacy on Set, her work on productions like I May Destroy You and Sex Education has helped create bold, vulnerable storytelling rooted in care. Through her Intimacy On Set Guidelines, she champions spaces where performers can take creative risks without compromising agency or safety. Blending choreography, consent, and radical storytelling, O’Brien is a vital voice in conversations about representation, power, and care in the arts.
