Community organiser Michelle Killington chairs an in depth conversation with Malachi Simpson (Founder) and Mario Coker (Director) of The Streetz Football about what motivates both young leaders to build a platform aimed at providing opportunities for young people, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds.

Mario Coker [he/him] is the Director of The Streetz Football, a fast rising grass roots football brand born in Angell Town, Brixton. Grown and raised on Somerleyton Road in Brixton, he’s passionate about creating opportunities for young people through football, content, and community. Winner of the Go London Young Entrepreneur Programme, Mario is building a global platform that inspires the next generation.
Malachi Simpson [he/him] is the founder of The Streetz Football and a dedicated youth football coach, raised in the heart of Angell Town, Brixton. With a deep passion for the game, Malachi has helped over 30 young players secure academy contracts, using football not just as a sport, but as a tool to transform lives. Through his work, he aims to inspire young people to develop both on the pitch and in their mindset, proving that with belief and the right support, anything is possible.
Michelle Killington [she/her] is a community activist, with a background in architecture. Founder of Angell Town Residents Group, an organisation campaigning for more opportunities within the local area. As a youth mentor Michelle provides safe spaces and a platform to develop a love of music and other creative talents and offers guidance through an Artistic development programme called Empower From Within. She also works with older women in the community as a qualified boxercise coach.
