A night of poetry centred around the encounters that move us, shape us or scar us, fleeting or otherwise. Hosted by award winning poet and former Young People's Laureate, Cecilia Knapp. Expect poems from your host alongside a lineup of renowned multi-talented poets- Esme Allman, Rohan Ayinde, Troy Cabida, Tice Cin, Bridget Minamore, Jolade Olusanya and Belinda Zhawi.

Cecilia Knapp [she/her] is a poet, novelist and former Young People’s Laureate. She was shortlisted for the Forward Prize in 2022 for Best Single Poem. She was the winner of the Ruth Rendell Award in 2021 and has been shortlisted for the Rebecca Swift Women Poets’ Prize. Her debut poetry collection Peach Pig was published in 2022. She curated the anthology Everything is Going to Be Alright: Poems for When You Really Need Them (2021). Her poems have appeared in The Financial Times, Granta and The White Review. Her debut novel Little Boxes was longlisted for The Authors Club Best First Novel Award and her latest book Lack is forthcoming in 2026.
